David is the Chief Executive Officer of Pinewood Group overseeing the commercial, strategic and operational management of the company’s three principal studio sites – Pinewood Studios and Shepperton Studios in the UK, as well as Pinewood Toronto Studios.
Pinewood Group is the leading independent operator of the real estate that is required for the production of film and television content. Founded in 1936 and headquartered in the UK, Pinewood owns premium, large-scale studio facilities for hosting film, television and other media productions.
Prior to joining Pinewood Group, David was the Chief Operating Officer of the major UK production company, Independent Television News Limited (ITN). ITN produces the news output for ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5 in the UK, as well as producing other cross-genre Film and TV output.
David was also previously the Chief Executive Officer of BBC Studioworks Limited, one of the BBC’s main commercial subsidiaries. BBC Studioworks provides studio and post production services to an array of broadcasters, streaming platforms and independent production companies, and operates several studio sites.
